Department Overview:
Dolphin Swim Academy is dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and nurturing environment that fosters each child's emotional, physical, and developmental growth through quality swim instruction.
Anticipated Hours Per Week
4 to 15
Schedule:
Families of special abilities swimmers generally swim in the evening between 3pm and 7:30pm week nights, but we can work with your schedule to create classes that best fit you!
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $25.00 to $35.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are currently seeking passionate and reliable swim instructors who are either current students or professionals in Physical Therapy (PT) and/or Occupational Therapy (OT). This is a rewarding opportunity to apply your knowledge in a hands-on, meaningful way while gaining valuable experience working with children in a therapeutic aquatic setting.
Job Description
- One-on-one swim lessons with various students who are disabled or have special needs.
- Foster a safe and encouraging environment for all students to be able to learn and grow in their swimming abilities.
- Using therapeutic principles to help children learn critical swim skills. This type of therapy helps create confidence in the water while also using the water's buoyancy and properties to help build endurance, strength, and coordination.

Qualifications:
- Either a current PT/OT student or practicing professional
- Experience working with kids
- Experience swimming or being in an aquatic setting preffered
