About the role

As a senior designer of executive media in historic Savannah, Ga., you’ll work with the executive director of executive media to develop and implement dynamic social media content, presentations, videos, and photography that promote the university president. • Support the visual development and creative implementation of executive media initiatives (i.e., branding systems, social media series, presentation design, publication layouts, and photo/video creative direction)

As part of the executive media team, you’ll:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop visually cohesive content that supports executive initiatives and university storytelling
  • Ensure the established quality and sophistication expected by SCAD and the president is met on every project
  • Design visually compelling content and branded creative assets to support executive communications, institutional campaigns, public relations initiatives, and multimedia storytelling
  • Maintain awareness of current design trends, emerging platforms, creative technologies, and industry best practices to enable innovative, visually sophisticated content creation
  • Provide on-site creative and production support for executive initiatives

Additionally, you’ll:

  • Ensure that all media produced within the department supports SCAD's mission and the goals set by the office of the president
  • Spearhead special projects outside your scope of responsibilities that require immediate attention and focused dedication
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to carry out the mission of the university

Candidates should ideally demonstrate:
