Visy is looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to support the safe and efficient operation of our Springvale Materials Recovery Facility (MRF). Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll manage three Team Leaders across a busy 24/7 recycling operation, providing leadership to a workforce of approximately 35 employees across shifts. This is a highly visible role where you'll spend a lot of your time on the floor supporting your team, driving performance, solving problems and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership, coaching and incident prevention
  • Support Team Leaders and operators to achieve throughput, quality and operational targets
  • Coordinate labour, equipment and resources to maximise productivity and minimise downtime
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to resolve operational issues and maintain plant performance
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, efficiency and cost performance

What You Will Bring

  • Experience leading teams within manufacturing, recycling, waste, processing or other heavy industrial environments
  • Strong safety leadership and commitment to creating a safe workplace
  • Practical problem-solving ability with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience managing employee performance, coaching and developing teams
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce
  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to spend time in the operation supporting your team

Supportive Environment: Be part of a team that values safety, respect, and collaboration

Career Growth: Opportunities for further training and career advancement within the company

Employee Benefits: Access retail discounts, wellbeing programs and employee support services
