About the role

As Product Marketing Manager at Pump, you'll be the bridge between product, marketing, and sales. You'll own how Pump is positioned and how every launch lands with customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, define our story in a growing market, and help shape our company culture and values.

What You'll Do

  • Own Pump's positioning and messaging across AWS, GCP, Azure, and AI/LLM cost savings.
  • Plan and run product launches, from messaging to sales enablement to launch-day campaigns.
  • Turn technical features into clear customer benefits for engineering and finance buyers.
  • Build sales collateral: pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, ROI calculators, and case studies.
  • Run customer and competitive research and share the findings across the company.
  • Partner with content, SEO/AEO, and paid to make sure messaging is consistent across channels.

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS or developer tools.
  • Strong writer who can make technical products simple without dumbing them down.
  • Experience running launches and enabling a sales team.
  • Strong project management and data skills; familiar with tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Available to work 5 days a week onsite in our San Francisco office.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, observability, FinOps, or AI infrastructure.
  • Experience marketing usage-based or consumption-priced products.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation + equity
  • Comprehensive healthcare and dental coverage for you
  • 401(k) plan
  • Generous PTO: 13 accrued days, plus company shutdown December 24–January 1
  • Free lunch & dinner at the office
  • Annual company-paid retreats
  • Developmental bonuses: support for professional development tied to cloud and related fields
