About the role

Content Creator

As Content Creator at Pump, you'll be the face and voice of Pump on social. You'll make short-form video and social content that makes cloud costs interesting and builds an audience among engineers, founders, and finance leaders. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team, build our social presence from the ground up, and help shape our company culture and values.

What You'll Do

  • Create short-form video and social content for LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Script, film, and edit content, from founder and customer stories to explainers and behind-the-scenes at Pump.
  • Grow Pump's and our leadership's social following and engagement.
  • Turn launches, blog posts, and customer wins into social-first content with marketing and design.
  • Spot trends quickly and ship content fast.
  • Track performance and keep doubling down on what works.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years creating social and video content for a brand, startup, or your own channels.
  • A portfolio or channel that shows real audience growth.
  • Comfortable on camera and behind it; strong editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar).
  • Curious about tech and willing to learn the cloud space.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
  • Available to work 5 days a week onsite in our San Francisco office.

Bonus Points

  • Experience building an audience for a B2B or tech brand.
  • Motion graphics or design skills (After Effects, Figma).

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation + equity
  • Comprehensive medical and dental coverage
  • 401(k) plan
  • Generous paid time off, including 13 days of accrued PTO, 9 sick days, all 11 federal holidays, and a company-wide winter break from December 24 through January 1
  • Free lunch at the office
  • Free access to the building gym
  • Annual company-paid retreats
  • Developmental bonuses: support for professional development tied to cloud and related fields
