About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.

About the Role

We’re looking for a part-time Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive, affirming care at Tia’s San Francisco clinic.

This position offers the flexibility to choose a consistent schedule of either:

  • Two days per week, 16 hours
  • Three days per week, 24 hours

As a Physician at Tia, you’ll provide full-spectrum primary care for women, including preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management, and routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare.

You’ll work alongside nurse practitioners, physician assistants, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff in an interdisciplinary environment designed to support whole-person care. You’ll also have opportunities to share clinical insights that help Tia improve its care model, workflows, and technology.

Why Tia

  • Choice of a consistent two-day or three-day weekly schedule
  • Protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration
  • AI-supported documentation to reduce charting burden
  • Collaborative, interdisciplinary care team
  • Thoughtfully designed San Francisco clinic
  • Opportunity to help shape a more integrated model of women’s healthcare
  • Malpractice coverage, CME support, and licensing reimbursement
  • Additional benefits and incentive compensation based on scheduled hours and eligibility

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, acute concerns, and chronic condition management.
  • Address routine women’s health needs, including birth control counseling, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding.
  • Provide compassionate, inclusive care through shared decision-making and a whole-person approach.
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, acupuncture providers, and clinical support staff.
  • Participate in case consultation, clinical collaboration, and teaching across the care team.
  • Share frontline clinical insights that help improve Tia’s care model, workflows, and technology.
  • Incorporate current research and evidence-based practices into patient care.

What You’ll Bring

  • MD or DO with an active, unrestricted California medical license.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
  • 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience
  • Experience providing routine gynecologic and reproductive healthcare within a primary care setting.
  • Comfort managing preventive care, chronic conditions, acute concerns, basic dermatology, contraception, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding.
  • A collaborative approach to working with nurse practitioners and other members of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, inclusive, affirming, and patient-centered care.
  • Willingness and eligibility to complete required credentialing and payer enrollment.
