About the role

North Idaho College’s Workforce Training Center is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Health Careers Program Coordinator to support the growth and success of its healthcare workforce training programs. Working alongside the Health Occupations Manager, you’ll help bring programs to life by coordinating daily operations, student enrollment and success activities, instructional and clinical logistics, and partnerships with healthcare employers and community organizations.

In this role, you’ll coordinate schedules, projects, classroom resources, student records, clinical placements, and program communications while keeping important timelines and details on track. You’ll also support program improvement initiatives, advisory committees, outreach efforts, and compliance activities. Gathering and analyzing enrollment, completion, and workforce data will be an important part of helping the department evaluate program effectiveness, identify opportunities, and respond to changing industry needs.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing people and projects together, can balance competing priorities, and takes initiative to solve problems and improve processes. Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and collaborate with a wide range of people. Experience in healthcare education, workforce development, training programs, or employer partnerships is a plus.

If you enjoy meaningful work that connects education with community workforce needs, this is an opportunity to make a difference in preparing students for careers in healthcare.
