Campus Operations & Growth Manager — Snow Scholars

Build a local business. Lead a team. Gain real operations and marketing experience—while earning paid, flexible work around your class schedule.

Snow Scholars is a tech-enabled snow-removal company featured on Shark Tank and backed by Mark Cuban. We give ambitious college students the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a local market—not just complete entry-level tasks.

As a Campus Operations & Growth Manager, you will recruit and lead a local service team, help grow the customer base, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly throughout the winter season. You will receive weekly coaching, use real operational tools, and build resume-ready experience in leadership, marketing, customer growth, and business operations.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

What you’ll do

Lead your local market: Recruit, onboard, and support a team of student shovelers and adult contractors.

Grow the customer base: Promote Snow Scholars through social media, campus and community outreach, student organizations, door-hanger distribution, local events, and partnerships.

Run day-to-day operations: Coordinate scheduling, routing, customer service, team performance, and service delivery through our operations dashboard.

Solve real business problems: Identify what is working in your market, improve processes, and respond quickly during snow events.

Learn from a mentor: Meet weekly with a Campus Teams Manager for one-on-one coaching, strategy support, and professional development.

Collaborate nationally: Share ideas and best practices with Campus Managers across Snow Scholars markets.

Why this is more than a typical campus job

This role is designed for students who want hands-on experience—not just another hourly position. By the end of the season, you will be able to speak directly about leading a team, building a local customer base, managing operations, and working toward measurable results.

You’ll gain experience relevant to careers in:

Operations and project coordination

Marketing, sales, and business development

Entrepreneurship and business management

Communications and community partnerships

Logistics, supply chain, and customer experience

Team leadership and people management

Qualifications:

Who will thrive in this role

You may be a strong fit if you are:

Organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership

Interested in leadership, operations, marketing, sales, or entrepreneurship

Comfortable communicating with students, customers, contractors, and community partners

Reliable and able to balance responsibilities alongside classes

Willing to work independently while asking for help when needed

Motivated by measurable goals and improving results over time

No prior snow-removal or formal management experience is required. We care more about your communication skills, initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn.

Work authorization: U.S. work authorization required
