  • Leading, coaching, and developing CSR team members through ongoing training, feedback, and support
  • Cross-training CSRs in appropriate veterinary assistant skills and responsibilities to build greater flexibility and collaboration across the hospital
  • Serving as a clinical resource for the team and stepping in to assist with patient care and medical workflows when needed
  • Supporting veterinary assistant responsibilities such as patient handling, restraint, treatments, and general nursing care
  • Helping coordinate communication and workflows between the client service and medical teams
  • Assisting with client complaint resolution and promoting a positive client experience
  • Supporting hospital policies, procedures, and standards of patient and client care
  • Identifying opportunities to improve front-office efficiency, team performance, and overall hospital operations

Minimum qualifications and skill set

  • 3+ years of veterinary experience, with a strong background in veterinary nursing
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience, with demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, delegate, and support team development
  • Strong understanding of veterinary hospital workflows and the ability to confidently assist the medical team when needed
  • Experience with patient handling, restraint, nursing care, and general veterinary assistant responsibilities
  • Experience working with veterinary practice management software, especially Cornerstone preferred
