About the role

About the role

As our Test Analyst, you will play a hands-on role in planning, coordinating and executing software testing activities across critical business platforms.

Working closely with developers, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders, you will help ensure that software releases meet agreed quality, functionality, performance and usability standards. Identifying and investigating defects, validate solutions, support release readiness and contribute to continuous improvements in testing practices.

A Day in the Life

Whilst there’s no typical day in the dynamic world of media, you can expect your role to involve the following:

  • Develop and maintain test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
  • Review business and technical requirements to ensure they are complete, clear and testable.
  • Plan and manage testing sprints in Jira, including test activities, case allocation, timelines and milestones.
  • Execute manual functional, regression, integration, system, user acceptance, data validation and exploratory testing.
  • Validate data flows, interfaces, reports, integrations, business rules and system outputs.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, test results and defects.
  • Support release testing, production readiness assessments and go-live activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, standards and documentation.

About You

You will be an analytical and detail-focused Test Analyst who takes ownership of delivering high-quality outcomes. You will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience in a software testing or quality assurance role.
  • A strong understanding of software development and testing life cycles.
  • Strong defect investigation, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a project environment.
