Job Description:
The McGuire Center for Lepidoptera & Biodiversity at the Florida Museum of Natural History is seeking a highly organized, dependable UF student to provide administrative support to the Center’s director, Dr. Akito Kawahara.
Essential duties include:
- Coordinating calendars and meetings
- Organizing travel receipts and reimbursement documentation
- Maintaining digital files
- Tracking deadlines and follow-up tasks
Approximately 10–15 hours/week, with flexibility around classes.
Located at the McGuire Center, Gainesville.
Expected Salary:
$17-20/hour, depending on experience
Required Qualifications:
Current UF student
Experience with Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Discretion with confidential information
- Ability to work independently
- In-person work
