About the role

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

STARLINK COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER (CONSUMER LIFECYCLE)

Starlink Consumer Communications is hiring a Communications Manager to run post-purchase email programs for existing customers: plan upgrades, accessories, bundles, and referrals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, write, and run post-purchase email programs that grow revenue from customers who already have the kit (upsell, upgrades, accessories, referrals, and similar)
  • Use targeting, testing, and reporting to improve conversion and scale those programs over time
  • Support launches of new offers and products as they become available, with a focus on attach, upgrade, and expansion
  • Report on conversion, revenue, and related metrics
  • Support other customer communications as needed, including plan and price changes, terms of service, and new-country launches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, growth, or consumer communications, with owned programs that drove measurable upsell, upgrade, and retention outcomes

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, journalism, economics or a related field
  • Hands-on experience building automated, trigger-based lifecycle emails: targeting, cadence, A/B testing, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to write customer-facing copy
  • Comfort owning experiment design and commercial metrics (conversion, mix, incremental revenue/ARR, unsubscribe and complaint cost)
  • Subscription or consumer-technology experience
  • Comfort with data used to target and measure email programs
  • Experience working with legal, product, and operations partners

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Pay Range:

Level 3: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00
