Our vibrant campus in Australia’s capital city is a hub of innovation & opportunity. Ranked number one in Canberra for graduate outcomes and student support, UC values progress over perfection, inclusion over competition, and real‑world impact over prestige. If you’re looking for a career that matters, where you can belong, grow, and help shape what’s next, you’ll find your place at UC.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the University's funding, planning and accountability functions. As the SSAF and Funding Programs Coordinator, you will lead the coordination and administration of the University's Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF) program and provide support for other funding and grant programs managed through the Planning & Assurance team.

Working across a diverse range of stakeholders including Finance, Governance, student representative bodies and senior University leaders, you will help ensure funding programs are administered transparently, effectively and in compliance with legislative and reporting requirements.

You will also contribute to the implementation of the University's future student-led SSAF allocation model and help enhance funding administration processes across the institution.

Please note this is a Full Time, Two-Year Fixed Term position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual SSAF funding cycle, including consultation, application processes, allocations, acquittals and reporting.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the University's student-led SSAF allocation arrangements.
  • Work closely with Finance to support revenue forecasting, funding allocation planning and ongoing monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting systems to support transparency, audit readiness and governance obligations.
  • Assist with administration of other internal or external funding programs, grants or strategic funding sources managed through Planning & Assurance.

About you

  • Experience managing financial information, budgets, acquittals, funding records or related administrative processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing stakeholder requirements.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefing papers, correspondence and administrative documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to governance, compliance and record-keeping standards.

Offerings/ Benefits/ Culture

The University offers excellent conditions and benefits such as:

  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Family-friendly policies
  • On campus Gym, Medical services, Cafes, Post office, Supermarket and Childcare facilities.
  • Professional Development offerings (study assistance, corporate programs and discounts)
  • Innovative work environment with a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Access to Employee Assistance Program and a corporate private Health Plan (Bupa)
