About the role

WHY JOIN ALO?

Mindful movement. It’s at the core of why we do what we do at ALO—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.

OVERVIEW

As a Senior Manager – ERP Finance, you will lead the architecture, design, development, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance and supporting financial systems at alo. This is an engineering leadership role requiring deep technical expertise and direct implementation experience across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Accounting (PA), and Fixed Assets (FA).

Reporting to the Director, ERP Corporate Systems, you will provide technical direction for Finance transformation, integrations, and Oracle Fusion agentic capabilities. You will lead a team comprising development management, engineers, and consulting partners, remaining directly engaged in architecture, solution design, technical reviews, and complex problem-solving.

You will work proactively with business teams to understand their strategic direction and translate business requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions. Success requires the technical credibility to challenge designs, influence architecture decisions, and guide implementation teams through delivery and production stabilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Lead architecture and technical delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance across GL, AP, AR, PPM, and FA, from discovery and design through implementation, cutover, and stabilization.
  • Lead development managers, engineers, and consulting partners; establish engineering standards and remain directly engaged in solution design, code reviews, and complex troubleshooting.
  • Define integration architecture across OIC, Boomi, and supporting OCI services, influencing platform selection through clear technical and operational tradeoffs.
  • Own middleware transformation and pre-validation, including source-to-target mappings, accounting validations, reference-data checks, reconciliation, error handling, and controlled reprocessing.
  • Implement Oracle Fusion agentic capabilities, including Oracle-delivered agents and custom or extended agents using Oracle AI Agent Studio, with appropriate testing, access controls, and operational support.
  • Partner with Finance Business Analysts, Architects, and Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Warehouse Management, and Order Management teams to translate business requirements into integrated technical solutions.
  • Apply Agile and prescribed SDLC practices; partner with Quality Engineering to validate financial accuracy, integration behavior, performance, and recovery.
  • Lead production support and root-cause resolution across Oracle Fusion Finance, middleware, and supporting systems.
  • Manage delivery estimates, plans, dependencies, vendor quality, and stakeholder reporting across multiple projects, meeting schedule, budget, and customer expectations.
  • Ensure documentation, knowledge transfer, and end-user training as appropriate; stay current with technologies relevant to Finance operations.
  • Demonstrate values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of enterprise financial systems experience with increasing technical responsibility, including substantial Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance implementation experience; 5+ years leading internal and partner teams.
  • Proven full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance delivery as a technical lead, engineering lead, principal engineer, or equivalent, with direct architecture and implementation ownership. Legacy-to-Oracle Cloud transformation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Deep implementation expertise across GL, AP, AR, PPM, and FA, including financial processes and cross-module dependencies.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Oracle development, coding, configuration, technical design, and troubleshooting, with demonstrable personal contributions to implementation.
  • Deep OIC implementation experience, practical Boomi experience, and sound judgment in selecting between Boomi, OIC, and supporting OCI services.
  • Demonstrated delivery of financial integrations covering transformation, source-to-target mappings, accounting validations, reference-data checks, pre-validation, reconciliation, error handling, and reprocessing.
  • Practical experience with Oracle Fusion REST/SOAP APIs, File-Based Data Import (FBDI), and synchronous, asynchronous, and batch integration patterns.
  • Implementation experience with both Oracle-delivered Fusion AI agents and custom or extended agents using Oracle AI Agent Studio, including integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong architecture and engineering judgment, with the ability to challenge designs, review code, influence decisions, and ensure secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Experience managing vendors and consulting partners, negotiating work, and ensuring technical quality. Consulting experience is a plus.
  • Retail experience and understanding of Order Management, Warehouse Management, Inventory Planning, and financial integration points are significant advantages. Familiarity with Anaplan, Coupa, Shopify, Avalara, FloQast etc. is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to explain complex concepts and influence business and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong business orientation, initiative, and motivation; willingness to learn, openness to change, and enjoyment of a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree (preferred) in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
