About the role

NETGEAR is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead cross-functional security initiatives across products, cloud services, enterprise systems, and operations. This role translates cybersecurity strategy into execution, drives stakeholder alignment, and ensures risks and priorities are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage cybersecurity programs across product security, enterprise security, vulnerability management, cloud security, compliance, certifications, and incident readiness.
  • Own program roadmaps, priorities, schedules, budgets, dependencies, risks, and delivery.
  • Facilitate cybersecurity incident response, coordinating stakeholders, actions, communications, and post-incident follow-up.
  • Define, develop, and track KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure security posture, risk, remediation, and program effectiveness.
  • Identify blockers and material risks, drive resolution, and escalate issues requiring leadership attention.
  • Partner with engineering, IT, legal, privacy, compliance, and business teams to drive risk remediation and security improvements.
  • Coordinate security assessments, audits, certifications, penetration tests, bug bounties, and remediation activities.
  • Manage security vendors and third-party engagements, including scope, deliverables, performance, and issue resolution.
  • Track emerging risks and regulatory requirements and strengthen security-by-design practices.
  • Leverage AI and automation to improve program execution, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technical program management, or related fields, including leading complex security programs.
  • Strong knowledge of security risk management, incident response, product and cloud security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with security metrics, dashboards, executive reporting, vendor management, and third-party assessments.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cross-functional teams, manage escalations, and drive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, prioritization, and executive presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related discipline; CISSP, CISM, PMP, or similar certification preferred.
