About the role
As Sportsbook Manager, you will be responsible for developing and optimising the sportsbook proposition for the Greek market. This is a commercially focused role combining strong sportsbook and trading knowledge with ownership of our site-wide sportsbook promotional strategy.
The role is split across two key areas:
- Sportsbook Proposition & Trading Collaboration: Ensuring our sportsbook offering remains competitive, relevant and commercially effective for Greek players.
- Sportsbook Promotions: Planning, developing, executing and evaluating open-to-all sportsbook promotions that drive engagement, turnover and profitability.
You will work closely with Trading, Product, Tech, Marketing and CRM to deliver a competitive and engaging sports betting experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the Greek sportsbook promotional calendar, planning and executing site-wide campaigns around key sporting events and commercial opportunities.
- Develop and optimise sportsbook promotional mechanics, balancing customer appeal, competitiveness, engagement and profitability.
- Evaluate promotional performance and ROI, identifying opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and commercial results.
- Collaborate closely with Trading to monitor odds competitiveness, market coverage, margins and the overall sportsbook offering for the Greek market.
- Monitor the Greek sports betting market and competitors, identifying opportunities to improve our promotions, product and proposition.
- Work with Product and Tech to test new functionalities, evaluate existing features and recommend improvements to the sportsbook experience.
- Collaborate with Marketing, CRM and Compliance to coordinate campaign execution, communications and promotional requirements.
- Analyse and report on sportsbook performance, including turnover, NGR, active players, promotional costs and key commercial initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 4+ years' experience in Sportsbook, ideally within commercial, promotions, proposition, product or operations roles.
- Demonstrable experience developing, managing and evaluating customer-facing sportsbook promotions.
- Strong sportsbook and trading literacy, including understanding of odds, margins, pricing, markets and sportsbook profitability.
- Strong knowledge of the Greek sports and betting market, customer behaviour, sporting events and competitive landscape.
- Commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to evaluate performance, identify opportunities and make data-informed decisions.
- Ability to translate commercial opportunities into actionable initiatives and coordinate their execution across multiple teams.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Native Greek language proficiency.
