This is an excellent opportunity for a Speech Pathologist who enjoys variety and wants the flexibility to work with children, adults, or a combination of both. You will be supported by a collaborative team and have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills while making a genuine difference in the lives of your clients.

About the Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide assessment and therapy across a diverse range of communication and swallowing needs. Your caseload can be tailored to your experience, interests and preferred client group.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
  • Providing evidence-based intervention for speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders
  • Working with clients across different age groups, depending on your interests
  • Collaborating with Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
  • Supporting clients, families and carers with practical communication strategies and education
  • Monitoring client progress and maintaining high-quality clinical documentation
  • Participating in case discussions and contributing to a positive multidisciplinary team environment
  • Staying up to date with current clinical practices through ongoing professional development

About You

  • A recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership or eligibility for membership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine interest in helping clients achieve their individual goals
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice and continued professional development

Experience working with both paediatric and adult clients is highly regarded, however, clinicians with a preference for one particular age group are also encouraged to apply. New graduates are welcome to apply.

What’s on Offer?

  • Join a well-established and supportive multidisciplinary practice
  • Flexible full-time or part-time working arrangements
  • The opportunity to build a caseload around your clinical interests
  • Choice of working with children, adults or both
  • Supportive team environment with regular collaboration
  • Professional development, training and mentoring opportunities
  • Opportunities to expand your clinical skills and areas of expertise
  • Competitive salary package based on experience
  • Excellent work-life balance
  • Long-term career development opportunities
