About the role

Physiotherapist | MSK and Occupational Health | Perth, Brisbane & Melbourne West

Permanent | Full-time or part-time | Monday to Friday

This is an occupational health physiotherapy role where you treat employees at their workplace, either on site or by telehealth. Much of the work is early intervention, so you see people while a minor complaint is still minor, and you get to see the physical demands of their job first-hand. Alongside one-on-one treatment, your week includes things like ergonomic assessments and site visits, so it is more varied than a typical clinic caseload.

We are keen to connect with experienced physios who may be considering a move before the end of the year, or who are looking to start fresh in 2027.

About the organisation

  • A national occupational health provider working with large Australian employers across a range of industries
  • A multidisciplinary approach covering injury prevention, return to work, and mental wellbeing
  • Established, long-standing team with hands-on directors and a flexible working model
  • Clinical leadership that backs initiative and good clinical reasoning
  • Outcomes are tracked and reported, so you can see the difference your work makes

The role

  • Assess, treat and rehabilitate employees with work-related and non-work-related musculoskeletal conditions
  • Intervene early so small problems stay small and people stay at work
  • Complete ergonomic assessments at the workstation, giving practical advice instead of generic handouts
  • Contribute to risk assessments and job task analyses
  • Run toolbox-style education sessions, workshops or exercise classes where the site calls for it
  • Build good working relationships with employees, supervisors and site managers
  • Travel between sites during the week, with time in the diary set aside for notes and reporting

What’s on offer

  • Salary up to $100,000 FTE plus super and a travel allowance
  • Monday to Friday, with no regular evenings or weekends
  • Full-time or part-time, in a 4-day or 5-day week
  • Dedicated admin time built into your diary
  • A mix of onsite and telehealth work
  • Annual professional development allowance of up to $1,750
  • Ongoing mentoring, professional development and a clear path to progress
  • Access to CPD, research opportunities and student supervision
  • A supportive team with strong clinical leadership behind you

About you

  • At least 2 years’ physiotherapy experience
  • Background in MSK, sports, occupational health and/or private practice
  • Strong MSK skills are a big plus, particularly if you want autonomy and genuine career growth
  • Good communicator who builds rapport easily with people from all walks of life
  • Current driver’s licence and your own vehicle
  • Full Australian working rights

Locations (permanent roles available)

  • Perth: Myaree through to Kewdale. Close to the river, with easy freeway access across the metro area.
  • Brisbane: Eagle Farm, Wacol and Salisbury. Good road links to the city and the bay, with plenty of cafes and green space nearby.
  • Melbourne West: Altona Meadows through to Belmont. Bayside walks, river trails and relaxed suburban living.
