We invite high-calibre candidates to fill the Senior Quantity Surveyor (MEP/CSA) position in Kuala Lumpur & Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Job Duties

• Manage and monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance to ensure project profitability.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate progress claims, variations, extension of time claims, and final accounts with clients.
• Administer subcontract agreements, including tendering, evaluation, award, payment certification, variations, and final account settlement.
• Monitor project cash flow, payment collections, and commercial reporting, ensuring timely revenue recovery.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities while ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and company requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of quantity surveying or commercial management experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proven experience in managing client claims, variations, subcontract procurement, and final accounts.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
