Job Duties
- Lead and manage commercial and quantity surveying activities for MEP packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and validate BOQs, cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and commercial reports to support project objectives.
- Oversee progress valuations, subcontractor payments, variation assessments, claims, and final accounts.
- Lead contract administration activities and provide commercial guidance on project risks, opportunities, and contractual matters.
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve competitive commercial outcomes.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, BIM, and project teams to ensure effective cost and commercial management.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and commercial performance, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Mentor junior quantity surveyors and support project leadership in commercial decision-making and risk management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial management within construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQ preparation, contract administration, and commercial management.
- Proven experience in managing progress claims, variations, subcontract administration, and final accounts.
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, HVAC, ELV, and specialist building services packages.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement processes, and commercial risk management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to review drawings, specifications, and commercial documentation.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Thai.
