About the role

A well-established, highly regarded private allied health practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs is expanding its multidisciplinary team and seeking an Occupational Therapist with minimum of 5 years experience to join them. Operating for over 20 years and NDIS-registered, this warm, values-led clinic has built a strong reputation for evidence-based, client-centred therapy and long-term staff retention. This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT who wants to work alongside an experienced, collegiate multidisciplinary team, with the clinical support of a well-established practice behind them.

About the location The clinic is located in one of Sydney's most desirable beachside precincts, minutes from world-famous coastal walks, uncrowded beaches, a buzzing café and dining scene, and a genuine local community. You'll be well connected by public transport, close to major hospitals and universities, and enjoying all the lifestyle of the Eastern Suburbs without a CBD commute. The catchment is family-heavy and well-referred, meaning a full, steady caseload from day one.

Your caseload

  • Predominantly paediatric focus with scope to see adult clients depending on interest and experience
  • Toddlers, preschool, school-age and teens — with presentations including autism, developmental delay, sensory processing, fine and gross motor delays, handwriting and school-readiness, and functional independence
  • Assessment, therapy delivery, functional capacity assessments and family/school liaison
  • Close collaboration with an experienced in-house Speech Pathology team
  • Mix of NDIS (50%), private and Medicare clients
  • Primarily clinic-based one-on-one sessions with scope for community, school and telehealth work as needed

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • General AHPRA registration (Occupational Therapy Board of Australia)
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (highly desirable)
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check
  • Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate — please enquire)
  • Willingness to supervise junior practitioners

What's on offer

  • Permanent Part-time role with genuine work-life balance
  • Established client base — you walk into a warm caseload, no need to build from scratch
  • Work alongside an experienced, tight-knit multidisciplinary team
  • Structured supervision, mentoring and clinical peer review
  • Generous CPD allowance and OT Australia membership support
  • Assessment tools, therapy resources and admin support so you can focus on clinical work
  • Warm, values-led leadership with a genuine open-door culture
  • Beachside location, easy commute, lifestyle you'll love
