About the role

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.

Support our team culture by working in the office 4 days a week (Monday - Thursday). This means you’ll have to live within commuting distance of the office you’ll be working in.

Snowflake is seeking motivated people with a passion for technology and the drive to build an incredible career in SaaS sales. The Sales Development team plays a critical role in the growth of our organization. Our team works in collaboration with sales and marketing nurturing leads and setting qualified discovery calls that ultimately lead to new business and new revenue.

IN THIS ROLE YOU GET TO

  • Build revenue pipeline by setting introductory meetings with target influencers and key decision makers
  • Research and build new and existing accounts through rigorous outbound calling efforts and by creating/executing strategic email and social campaigns
  • Perform analysis of inbound and outbound prospects’ business and engage with these prospects by phone and/or email
  • Apply effective communication skills, collaborating directly with customers, sales and cross functional teams
  • Work in a fast-pace environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and amplify your successes by sharing your findings with your team

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE

  • A passion for technology and software sales, 1-2 years of customer facing experience is preferred
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external),
  • A sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • The ability to thrive in a company environment of rapid change; reacting to management initiatives; taking the "customer view"; adopting customer corporate ‘perspective’; accepting change to business/personal situations
  • Resourcefulness and results driven operating style
  • Collaborative and coachable mindset - you should be excited about continuously improving your skills and impact

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE ABILITY TO REPRESENT SNOWFLAKE AND THE VALUES WE STAND FOR

  • Fire in the Belly: The hustle to put in time and energy and to have resilience
  • Win as a Team: Can collaborate in a team environment
  • Get it Done: The ability to meet and exceed metrics and sales quotas
  • Own It: The ability to build our product and company like it’s your own, specifically defining and executing sales plans to meet strategic & financial targets, leveraging industry, partner & Go-to-Market knowledge
  • Integrity, Always: This ability to provide open, honest and respectful feedback creating an inclusive work environment
  • Think Big: Ambition to meet our big goals. Create a strategy to focus on what matters while making a positive impact and lasting difference
  • Be Excellent: Lead by example, doing your best work every day
  • A Desire to Make Each Other Better: Resulting in long standing relationships with internal cross functional partners and the ability to create an inclusive work environment
  • Embrace Each Other’s Differences: A passion for developing a diverse and inclusive environment of sales professionals from all backgrounds
