About the role

Purple Land Management (PLM) is seeking an experienced Right-of-Way Agent to support active infrastructure projects in Northeast Texas. Candidates must be based in or near Kilgore, Longview, or the Shreveport, Louisiana region, as this is a field-based role (no office requirement).

This is a true ROW acquisition role focused on pipeline and infrastructure projects. It is neither a title position nor a leasing role. The selected agent must be able to operate independently and close easements with minimal ramp time.

Responsibilities

  • Independently negotiate and secure right-of-way and easement agreements.
  • Conduct direct landowner outreach for pipeline and infrastructure projects.
  • Acquire surface agreements, access agreements, and damage settlements as required.
  • Coordinate with survey, engineering, and project management teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the acquisition process.
  • Meet acquisition targets and project deadlines with limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct Right-of-Way acquisition experience.
  • Experience on pipeline, midstream, utility, or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate and close easements.
  • Clear project history in the San Antonio or broader South Texas region.
  • Based in the San Antonio area or immediate surrounding counties.
  • Strong familiarity with South Texas landowner environments.
