About the role

Relief Veterinarian Pawsitive Veterinary Care | Tulsa, Oklahoma

Step into a hospital where your skills are valued, your autonomy is respected, and your impact is immediate.

Pawsitive Veterinary Care is looking for a confident Relief Veterinarian who’s ready to jump in, make a difference, and enjoy the flexibility of relief work, without sacrificing the support of an exceptional team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love a varied caseload, and take pride in delivering high-quality and compassionate medicine, this is your opportunity.

This is not a “just fill in” role. We’re looking for a doctor who can take the lead on cases, connect with clients, and confidently perform surgery. We would like someone who enjoys being hands-on and making a real impact from day one.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • No walk-ins- schedule runs off of appointments.
  • A dynamic, engaging caseload that keeps your days interesting
  • The ability to practice medicine your way with strong technical support
  • A collaborative, upbeat team that’s ready to support you from the moment you walk in
  • The chance to make an immediate difference for patients and clients

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver compassionate care across a wide range of small animal cases
  • Perform routine soft tissue surgeries independently and efficiently (surgery skills required)
  • Build trust with clients through clear and compassionate communication
  • Step in seamlessly and keep the day running smoothly

What We’re Looking For

  • DVM or equivalent with an active (or eligible) Oklahoma license
  • Strong GP experience and clinical confidence
  • Proven surgical proficiency—this is a must
  • Adaptability, reliability, and a team-first attitude
  • Someone who enjoys jumping in and making an impact

About Us

Perks & Flexibility

  • Competitive relief compensation
  • Flexible scheduling that works for you
  • Opportunity for ongoing or repeat shifts
  • A welcoming, drama-free environment where you can simply focus on doing great work

If you’re a skilled veterinarian who loves surgery, values flexibility, and wants to be part of a team that truly appreciates what you bring to the table, we want to meet you!

Let’s connect and get you on the schedule.
