Our Support Centre is 1,500+ people strong, which includes 500+ IT employees, who all play a vital role in ensuring the cogs of our Co-op stay turning and our systems stay ‘byte’-sized and ‘bug’-free.”.

Te Tūranga – About the role

Join our Quality Engineering Practice for 12 Month Fixed Term Contract and play a key role in ensuring our SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central platform delivers a reliable, secure and seamless experience for our people.

What you’ll do

  • Design, prepare, and execute functional, integration, regression and release testing across SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
  • Validate end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including hire, rehire, transfer, promotion, job change, manager change, leave of absence, termination, retirement, and employee data updates.
  • Validate HR data, organisational structures, workflows, business rules, permissions and effective-dated changes.
  • Test integrations between SuccessFactors Employee Central and downstream systems such as payroll, identity and access management, reporting platforms, learning, recruitment, time and attendance, rostering, finance, or data platforms.
  • Validate inbound and outbound interface behaviour, including file-based integrations, APIs, middleware-driven flows, error handling, and reconciliation.
  • Identify, manage and retest defects through to resolution.
  • Support UAT and work closely with HR, Payroll, People Systems, Product Owners and technical teams.
  • Contribute to test automation using Tricentis TOSCA where it adds sustainable value.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement across our QA Community of Practice.

  • A solid understanding of Employee Central data and HR processes, including employee profile, personal information, employment and job information, foundation objects, positions and organisational structures.
  • Experience validating business rules, workflows, role-based permissions and data propagation.
  • Strong experience with integration and regression testing, ideally across SuccessFactors and systems such as Payroll, Identity & Access Management, reporting, Learning, Recruitment, Time & Attendance or Finance.
  • The ability to test and validate inbound and outbound interfaces, APIs, integration files, middleware flows, error handling and data reconciliation.
  • Experience with Tricentis TOSCA or other test automation tools would be highly valued.
  • Exposure to other SAP SuccessFactors modules, SAP Integration Centre, OData APIs, Compound Employee API, Integration Suite or middleware would be advantageous.
