About the role

Project Manager, Creative Services (Contract)

Contract length: ~2 months

Location: Remote US (working to Pacific Hours)

Rate: $80 p/h

Core responsibilities

You will keep the current creative pipeline moving and surface problems early:

Intake, prioritization, and scheduling.

Run the existing request process across Marketing, Community, and Art. Keep the asset calendar current and give everyone one clear view of what is in flight. Bring priority conflicts to the Director with options.

Timeline and deliverable management.

Track deadlines for game updates, social campaigns, and community events. Make sure assets land on time.

Reviews, approvals, and feedback loops.

Keep work moving between stakeholders and creative leads so nothing stalls waiting on sign-off.

Early risk flagging and escalation.

Flag slipping deadlines and conflicts as soon as you see them, and bring a proposed fix with each one.

Cross-functional communication.

Be the point of contact between creative, marketing, community, production, and publishing. Protect the creative team's bandwidth by filtering and batching requests.

Existing freelancers and vendors.

Coordinate and track work with partners already engaged, within current scope and budget.

Qualifications

We need someone who can ramp up in a week and exercise good judgment without deep studio context.

Required

  • Several years of project management or producing experience for creative or marketing teams
  • Experience managing artists, designers, or other creatives through intake, review, and delivery
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and waterfall/gantt chart project trackers.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort escalating early
  • Ability to work independently and learn a new team quickly

Preferred

  • Background in games, entertainment, or an agency
  • Experience coordinating freelancers or external vendors
  • Familiarity with social, community, or game update marketing cycles

Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
