About this Position
To coordinate the procurement of goods and services and an effective and efficient manner while assuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and statutes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or equivalent experience.
- Two (2) years of purchasing experience, finance, or accounting experience.
Certifications, Registrations, and/or Licenses
- Valid Driver's License.
Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge
- Ability to work under own initiative.
- Plan daily activities and prioritize projects to assure the timely delivery of supplies and services.
- Must be competent in using good judgment to assure best methods in solicitations and procurement.
- Must be extremely competent in assuring all processes are free from errors, collusion and or impropriety.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word & Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher Education experience.
- Sci-quest /automated purchasing systems experience.
- Two years or more of Purchasing experience.

- C.P.M. or C.P.O
