More than 480 partners use its loan origination system and capital marketplace. Collectively, Figure and its partners have originated over $30 billion of loans to date, among other products. About the Role

We’re looking for a Portfolio & Investment Operations Manager to join our growing team! As Portfolio & Investment Operations Manager, you’ll own asset management for a portfolio of residential transition loans (RTL)/bridge loans and home equity lines of credit (HELOCs) across securitizations, forward flow agreements, and joint ventures. You’ll be the primary point of accountability for the ongoing performance, compliance, and economics of these portfolios and joint ventures, bridging deal structuring and live operations by turning portfolio management objectives and servicing, warehouse, and sale documents into repeatable practices. This is a newly created role on our Capital Markets team, supporting a leading structured finance platform with multiple institutional counterparties.

What You’ll Do

  • Track performance of mortgage assets, including origination trends, payoffs, delinquency, extensions, draws, and loss metrics across warehouse and owned positions
  • Produce recurring portfolio reports for internal and institutional stakeholders, and support board and investor reporting cycles
  • Maintain a current view of concentration limits, eligibility criteria, and covenant compliance across the portfolio
  • Build and maintain portfolio dashboards and trackers covering performance, cash flows, and key risk metrics
  • Manage day-to-day portfolio operations, including delinquency tracking and cash and collateral reconciliation
  • Apply the portfolio’s governing agreements to day-to-day decisions, including expense sharing, decision rights, and waterfall mechanics
  • Support forward flow and loan sale relationships, including compliance with applicable purchase and forward flow agreements
  • Coordinate with Legal and Compliance on counterparty notifications, consents, and amendments as the portfolio evolves
  • Oversee investment vehicle mechanics for joint ventures, including capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting cycles
  • Partner with deal and transaction management, structuring, and compliance teams on new originations, securitizations, and portfolio sales
  • Work with Finance and Accounting on cash reconciliation, fee distributions, and portfolio economics
  • Collaborate with Treasury on warehouse facility utilization and borrowing-base reporting for the portfolio

What We Look For

  • 4+ years in portfolio or asset management, structured finance, or capital markets operations, with direct exposure to residential transition loans, HELOCs, RMBS, or warehouse-financed loan portfolios
  • Comfort interpreting and applying governing agreements, servicing agreements, and financing documents
  • Ability to read and apply legal and transaction documents directly rather than relying on summaries
  • Strong Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, and financial modeling skills, with comfort building and maintaining portfolio tracking and reporting tools
  • Excellent written communication for reporting across counterparties
  • High attention to detail and comfort verifying claims against source documents rather than assumptions
  • Experience with fund or investment vehicle administration, including capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting cycles (preferred)
  • Comfort with NAV attribution and valuation processes for asset-backed credit portfolios (preferred)
  • Strong investment and credit analysis skills, with the ability to assess asset performance trends and flag emerging risks (preferred)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Adhere to all company security policies and data handling procedures.
  • Complete mandatory security awareness training within required timeframes.
  • Promptly report any suspected security incidents or suspicious activity to the Security team.

Salary

  • Base Compensation Range: $120,438 - $180,656/yr
  • 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly
  • Company equity in the form of RSUs

This is the compensation range for the role in the United States. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate’s experience, skills, location, internal equity, and evolving business needs. While most offers are generally made within the middle of the range, final compensation is determined based on the factors above.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and their dependents on select plans
  • Company HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, 401(k), and commuter benefits
  • Employer-paid life and disability insurance
  • 11 observed holidays and PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid family leave
  • Continuing education reimbursement
