More than 480 partners use its loan origination system and capital marketplace. Collectively, Figure and its partners have originated over $30 billion of loans to date, among other products. About the Role

We’re looking for a Manager, Capital Markets to join our growing team! As Manager within the Capital Markets team, you’ll own day-to-day execution of our secondary transactions, including whole loan trades, liquidity, and warehouse sales and repurchases, while supporting securitizations and investor initiatives. You’ll help scale the settlement, pipeline, and reporting processes behind Figure’s growing origination volume and product suite. The role calls for a strong working knowledge of internal guidelines and external agreements, and close collaboration with Capital Markets, Finance, mortgage operations, origination, and servicing teams, as well as external counterparties.

What You’ll Do

  • Build short- and long-term RTL and DSCR trade plans with pricing and origination teams, aligning takeout and capacity with projected fundings, liquidity needs, allocations, and counterparty terms
  • Manage warehouse facilities day-to-day, including line activity, sales, and repurchases, and track eligibility criteria, concentration limits, advance rates, loan aging, and margin calls
  • Support the Director on warehouse facility renewals and amendments
  • Analyze execution across buyers by comparing bids and reviewing post-trade P&L, and recommend where loans should be allocated based on price, speed, and terms
  • Monitor the funded and in-process pipeline against takeout commitments, and work with risk and origination teams to find the best takeout for each loan across potential buyers
  • Lead trade strategy and loan allocations, optimizing warehouse facility usage and trade channels for best execution
  • Lead the team executing transactions, from investor onboarding and loan pool diligence through resolution of collateral and credit exceptions, settlement, and transaction confirms, and review the team’s work for accuracy and timeliness
  • Serve as the escalation point for diligence findings and exceptions with investors, due diligence vendors, and internal credit teams
  • Build a strong working knowledge of sale and financing contracts, including MLPAs and warehouse agreements, to guide the team’s execution
  • Produce accurate loan tapes for investors, warehouse lenders, and trustees, making sure loan-level data is complete and reconciled before delivery
  • Deliver accurate portfolio and pipeline reporting to support ongoing liquidity, capacity, and capital planning
  • Own monthly reporting requirements under warehouse, trade, and securitization agreements, including counterparty and trustee reporting
  • Reconcile data across internal systems, servicers, and counterparties, and resolve discrepancies at the source
  • Partner with Technology and Product to improve capital markets data and reporting tools and automate manual processes

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or real estate
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in capital markets, structured finance, corporate finance, or mortgage banking
  • Experience with whole loan trades, warehouse lines, or securitizations (strongly preferred)
  • Mortgage or real estate industry experience (preferred, not required)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; experience mentoring or leading junior team members is a plus
  • A get-things-done mentality: a self-starter who identifies, overcomes, and works around obstacles to get to the finish line
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and Tableau experience (preferred)
  • Adhere to all company security policies and data handling procedures.
  • Complete mandatory security awareness training within required timeframes.
  • Promptly report any suspected security incidents or suspicious activity to the Security team.

Salary

  • Base Compensation Range: $128,000 - $192,000/yr
  • 25% annual bonus target, paid quarterly
  • Company equity in the form of RSUs

This is the compensation range for the role in the United States. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate’s experience, skills, location, internal equity, and evolving business needs. While most offers are generally made within the middle of the range, final compensation is determined based on the factors above.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, with 100% employer-paid premiums for employees and their dependents on select plans
  • Company HSA, FSA, Dependent Care FSA, 401(k), and commuter benefits
  • Employer-paid life and disability insurance
  • 11 observed holidays and PTO plan
  • Up to 12 weeks of paid family leave
  • Continuing education reimbursement
