About the role

People Associate

About TriEdge Investments

TriEdge Investments is a family office and technology company based in New York. We make concentrated investments in a few companies. We also incubate technology companies to solve the problems our investment team observes in our portfolio companies. In this sense, we've proven it's a true industry problem. We only focus on select healthcare verticals. Our mission is to improve patient outcomes and reduce the complexity of healthcare through better investing and technology. To do this, we find and foster extraordinary people who can think hyper-rationally yet with creativity. Our talent philosophy is that to do something different, you must be different. We enjoy working with people who think so too.

What We're Really Looking For

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented People Associate to help deliver an exceptional employee experience across the full employee lifecycle. In this role, you will partner closely with employees, leaders, and external partners to support People Operations, employee programs, talent initiatives, and organizational growth.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless employee experience, maintaining operational excellence across people processes, supporting managers and employees, and helping scale People practices as the organization grows. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys both strategic and operational work and wants to contribute meaningfully within a high-performance, fast-growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership on people reporting and analytics, supporting workforce planning, headcount reporting, turnover analysis, and other people insights
  • Facilitate employee equity administration, coordinating with legal counsel, employees, and internal stakeholders
  • Partner with external immigration counsel, employees, and hiring managers to facilitate visa and immigration processes
  • Develop and maintain HR resources, presentations, communications, training materials, and employee-facing documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee experience, strengthen people operations, and build scalable processes that support organizational growth
  • Manage employee offboarding processes, including payroll coordination, documentation, systems access, and asset return logistics
  • Partner with employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle, helping deliver a consistent, high-quality employee experience, and serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and people-related matters, providing guidance and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Prepare and facilitate offer letter generation, background checks, and pre-employment documentation for new hires
  • Lead onboarding processes, including coordination of welcome communications, technology setup, benefits enrollment, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to ensure a smooth transition into the organization
  • Partner with our PEO and internal stakeholders on employee record management, benefits administration, payroll processes, compliance matters, and policy execution
  • Contribute to strategic People initiatives, departmental goals, and other projects as needed

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, People Business Partnering, or related roles
  • High integrity with the ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
  • Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Tech-savvy and able to learn new tools quickly; experience with PEO platforms, HRIS, payroll systems, and productivity tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience supporting compensation administration, employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, and compliance-related activities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a passion for creating scalable and effective processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and reporting to support decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
