About the role

Occupational Therapist – Mixed Caseload (Adults & Paediatrics)

Eastern Suburbs, Brisbane QLD

If you enjoy the balance of working with both adults and children—and don’t want to be boxed into just one area—this role gives you that flexibility.

We’re working with a well-established allied health provider that values clinicians who like variety, autonomy, and a practical approach to therapy. This is a role where you can shape your caseload, not just inherit one.

The Role

A genuinely mixed caseload across adults and paediatrics, with the option to lean more heavily into one area over time if your interests evolve. You’ll be working across clinic and community settings, with flexibility in how your week is structured.

What you can expect

  • A diverse caseload including developmental, neurological, and functional presentations
  • Functional assessments, therapy planning, and equipment prescription
  • Work across home, clinic, and occasional school or community settings
  • Support from a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration

What makes this role different

  • You won’t be locked into one caseload—you can shape it as you grow
  • Flexibility in how your schedule is structured day-to-day
  • Strong clinical support without unnecessary oversight
  • Admin and operational support that actually reduces your workload
  • Competitive salary package + incentives

Who this would suit

  • AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist
  • Someone who enjoys variety or is still exploring clinical interests
  • Confident working with both adults and paediatrics (or open to it)
  • Strong communicator who values a client-centred approach

Why Brisbane’s Eastern Suburbs?

This area offers a coastal lifestyle without leaving the city behind. Think relaxed pace, easy access to the bay, and a strong community feel—while still being close enough to Brisbane for convenience. It’s an ideal setting if you want a role that balances career growth with lifestyle.

If you’re open to a role that offers variety, flexibility, and room to shape your clinical path, this role is for you. Please reach out to Camille at camille@mediix.com.au.
