Occupational Therapist | Brisbane, QLD

Make a meaningful difference in people's everyday lives while growing your career in a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

Are you an Occupational Therapist looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact, enjoy flexibility in how you deliver therapy and continue developing your clinical skills?

We’re working with a well-established community allied health provider offering a range of services to people living with disabilities and health conditions. With multiple clinics across Brisbane, the organisation delivers personalised therapy through a combination of clinic-based, home, community and telehealth services.

This is an opportunity to join a clinician-focused team that values professional autonomy, collaboration and ongoing development.

The Opportunity

You'll work with a varied caseload supporting children, adults and older individuals to improve their independence, participation and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting occupational therapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans.
  • Supporting participants to build skills for everyday activities, functional independence and community participation.
  • Completing functional capacity assessments and recommending appropriate supports.
  • Providing advice on assistive technology, equipment and home modifications.
  • Supporting participants with neurological conditions, sensory processing needs and other functional challenges.
  • Working collaboratively with families, support networks and other allied health professionals.
  • Delivering therapy across clinic, home and community settings, depending on participant needs.

What’s on Offer?

  • Competitive remuneration with annual salary reviews.
  • Flexible working arrangements and remote work options.
  • Personalised professional development budget of up to $2,500 per year.
  • Funding for external courses and professional events.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Supportive, clinician-led leadership and opportunities to influence how services are delivered.
  • Clear career progression pathways, including opportunities to develop into senior and leadership roles.
  • Relocation support may be available.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in community-based or NDIS occupational therapy (new graduates with relevant experience and a strong interest in this area may also be considered).
  • Strong assessment, report-writing and clinical reasoning skills.
  • A person-centred approach and the ability to build positive relationships with participants and their support networks.
  • Confidence working independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to participant locations, where required.
