2026 & 2027 New Grads Welcome | Structured Mentorship | Urgent Care + General Practice
Your first year shouldn’t mean getting thrown into the deep end. At Sploot, new graduates in Salt Lake City start with CAMP (Coaching And Mentorship Program), a structured, one-on-one mentorship pathway that builds the clinical skills, confidence, and efficiency to practice independently, with a fully staffed nursing team and experienced doctors beside you every step of the way.

Your Path to Independent Practice
- CAMP (first 6 weeks): Paired one-on-one each shift with a senior DVM seeing the same schedule, learning the full scope of DVM responsibilities.
- Continued mentorship: Protected learning blocks built into your schedule taper as your confidence and caseload grow
- 3-month evaluation: Once you’ve graduated from CAMP, a formal evaluation of your progress in clinical decision-making, case management, efficiency, client communication, medical records, and nurse delegation
What Makes You a Great Fit
- DVM/VMD graduate, licensed (or eligible) in Utah — fourth-year students are encouraged to apply
- Excited to learn, comfortable asking questions, and open to regular feedback
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values a great work culture
- Bonus Points: previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant, interest in surgery and dentistry, and excitement to grow with Sploot into a leadership role

- $130,000 starting base salary on a 4x10 schedule during CAMP
- ProSal model with 20–22% production once you graduate from CAMP
