About the role

About Critical Loop

Critical Loop is shaping the next generation of energy systems by building the integrated edge grid of the future. Specializing in advanced energy management and battery control systems, Critical Loop empowers businesses and communities to seamlessly unite distributed energy resources for faster, more reliable, and affordable grid access. With deep expertise in grid modernization and a passion for creating resilient, responsive energy solutions, Critical Loop drives innovation at the intersection of technology and energy.

The Role

The Critical Loop Production Master Scheduler drives efficient production by developing rate-based schedules, identifying part and staffing shortages, projecting long-term resource needs, and tracking constraints across builds while collaborating with teams to set and execute daily and weekly goals that align with overall rate targets driven by customer delivery milestones..

What You Will Do

  • Lead integrated production scheduling across Critical Loop product lines, including identifying need dates for all parts, projecting long-term operational requirements needed to support demand and associated staffing based on lead times; create a rate-based schedule and define/track constraints across each build.
  • Leverage the production schedule to create and generate stakeholder buy-in on various scenarios to determine optimal hardware and resource allocations between product lines that take into account customer needs, internal rate goals, and readiness requirements.
  • Work with the production team to set, track, and execute daily and weekly goals for the work center that take into account personnel and other physical resource constraints while still supporting overall rate targets; identify risks to the plan, as appropriate.
  • Manage the scheduling and prioritization of production resources that are used across product lines; actively negotiate with the leadership team for optimal priorities.
  • Leverage the ERP/MRP system to identify hardware shortages for upcoming builds and lead the effort to define creative solutions that allow a build to progress around the storages, where possible.
  • Drive down near-term and future schedule risk by conducting work-center level capacity analysis, identifying model and communication gaps that cause schedule slips, and leading initiatives (reactive and proactive) that mitigate those risks.
  • Lead efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolution on issues found during product builds as required to eliminate internal and external blockers to deliver product on time. Drive conversations around assembly-level & integration misalignment.

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • At least 3+ years of manufacturing scheduling, planning or operations.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a production environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in startup or high-growth manufacturing environments.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external supplier/customer relationships in a fast paced and evolving manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership with operational planning and forecasting.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in coding and computer applications (e.g. MS Office Suite, VBA, Smartsheet, SQL, Confluence, JIRA, Power BI, etc.).
  • Ability to map and determine process requirements and work to build standard processes across shared resources.
