At the XTB Spain Research Team, we work every day to explain what’s happening in international markets and bring it closer to our clients. Here we don’t just follow the market, we share our visions to create content for our clients to make investing more accessible and transparent.
Since we began our operations in Spain in 2008, as part of XTB Group - one of the most recognized, competitive, and secure listed brokers in the market, with more than 1,200 employees across Europe, Latin America, and Asia - we have experienced the markets first-hand, turning data into clear and useful insights.
The Research Department collaborates closely with both Marketing and Sales, giving us a comprehensive vision of the company and allowing us to deliver high-quality content, both for the media and for internal and global projects.
Location: Madrid, Spain. Working from the office 3 times a week required.
Your tasks
- Monitor and analyze the main international markets (equities, forex, commodities, indices and cryptocurrencies)
- Elaborate market reports, financial content, and internal presentations
- Prepare educational and market commentary content for our clients
- Actively participate in research projects alongside the Global Research Department
- Utilize AI tools and data platforms to improve research productivity and insights
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field
- Genuine interest in financial markets and investing
- Good understanding of the main financial products (stocks, ETFs, bonds, funds, derivatives, cryptocurrencies, etc.) and their key differences
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to confidently work with data
- Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into daily research tasks
- Proactive attitude, curiosity, and strong motivation to learn
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Proficiency in Spanish (Native) and English (Fluent, written and spoken)
- Strong team player who fits well in a collaborative, dynamic environment
