About the role

GTX Solutions, a CourtAvenue Company, is a boutique consulting firm focused on helping brands unlock the power of their customer data. We specialize in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), real-time activation, personalization, and MarTech integrations. Our team blends strategic insight with technical expertise to drive measurable business outcomes for high-growth companies and global enterprises alike.

GTX Solutions leads data activation and delivery for enterprise CRM programs on the Salesforce platform, including Marketing Cloud and Data 360, spanning email, SMS and direct mail. Our teams take over, stabilize and modernize live, high-volume programs, improving journeys, decisioning and measurement over time.

The Implementation Engineer implements web and app measurement, tagging and data collection across GTX client engagements. Working directly with clients and CDP and marketing automation specialists, this engineer ensures behavioral data flows accurately into analytics and customer data platforms to support customer experiences and activation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and document measurement plans, event specifications and data layers for client websites and applications.
  • Implement and maintain tags, JavaScript extensions, triggers, load rules and data mappings in Tealium iQ, Google Tag Manager and similar platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot GA4 and Adobe Analytics implementations, including events, parameters, conversions and reporting accuracy.
  • Implement server-side and event-stream collection using tools such as Tealium EventStream, server-side Google Tag Manager and conversion APIs.
  • Validate event collection into enterprise CDPs, including identifiers, event attributes and consent signals that support profiles, audiences and activation.
  • Integrate consent management with tagging and collection, and verify that consent choices control data flows appropriately.
  • Debug missing, duplicate or inconsistent events using browser developer tools, network inspection, tag debuggers and Charles Proxy.
  • Build and test REST API and webhook integrations; use SQL to reconcile collected events with downstream data.
  • Work directly with client marketing, analytics and engineering teams to clarify requirements, explain issues and guide implementation.
  • Partner with CDP and marketing automation engineers to validate the complete flow from behavioral events through audience qualification and activation.
  • Document configurations, mappings, QA results and deployments; build reusable scripts and validation patterns.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in analytics implementation, tag management, data collection or related MarTech engineering.
  • Strong JavaScript skills, including writing and debugging custom tracking code, extensions and data layer logic.
  • Hands-on implementation and troubleshooting expertise in Tealium iQ, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch or a comparable tag management system.
  • Experience implementing GA4 or Adobe Analytics, including event configuration, data validation and troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Practical CDP knowledge and experience implementing or validating collection into Tealium, Segment, Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Data 360 or a comparable enterprise CDP, including identifiers, consent, profiles, identity resolution, audiences and activation.
  • Experience with server-side or event-stream collection and enforcing consent choices within tagging and data flows.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and experience with REST APIs, authentication, webhooks and JSON payloads, using tools such as Postman.
  • Experience working directly with client technical and business stakeholders, with clear documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deeper CDP configuration experience, including identity rules, profile enrichment, audiences and activation connectors.
  • Hands-on configuration of engagement platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Adobe Journey Optimizer or Emarsys.
  • Experience across multiple tag management and analytics platforms, and relevant Tealium, Google or Adobe certifications.
  • Experience implementing mobile SDKs for analytics and data collection.
  • Python for automation and deeper experience with Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Background in MarTech consulting or agency delivery, and automotive, OEM or dealer-network experience.

Work Environment

  • This role supports multiple GTX client engagements across industries and technology platforms.
  • The role requires close coordination with client marketing, technology and data teams; occasional travel or on-site presence may be required.
  • GTX Solutions is a remote-first firm with team members across the United States.

GTX Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer. GTX recruits qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, status as a protected veteran, or genetic information.

GTX Solutions participates in the E-Verify program. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (I-9) upon hire.
