About the role

At Qube Research & Technologies (QRT), we’re redefining what’s possible through data, technology and scientific thinking.

As a global quantitative and systematic investment manager, we combine world-class research, engineering and trading expertise to solve complex problems and deliver exceptional investment performance across global financial markets.

Behind every great business is a great people function.

As we continue to grow globally, we’re looking for an exceptional HR Operations Specialist to join our Sydney team and help deliver an outstanding employee experience through operational excellence, precision and continuous improvement.

This is more than a traditional HR role. You’ll be at the heart of our people operations, partnering with colleagues across Australia, Singapore and India to deliver seamless HR services, support critical business processes and help build the scalable foundations that enable QRT’s continued growth.

Your future role at QRT

  • Deliver best-in-class HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding through to offboarding.
  • Partner with employees and managers to provide responsive, high-quality HR support.
  • Coordinate and validate payroll inputs, ensuring exceptional accuracy and data integrity.
  • Support international mobility, employee transfers and visa processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal controls.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve HR processes as we continue to scale.
  • Partner with our global HR team on projects that enhance the employee experience and operational efficiency.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who takes pride in getting the details right, enjoys solving operational challenges and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Significant experience in HR Operations or People Operations within a dynamic, growing organisation.
  • Good working knowledge of payroll processes and principles, with an unwavering commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
  • Experience using modern HR systems such as Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills and the confidence to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business.
  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.

Why QRT?

At QRT, you’ll join a collaborative, ambitious and intellectually curious organisation where operational excellence matters. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside talented colleagues across the globe, contribute to meaningful projects and help shape the future of our HR function as the business continues to grow.

If you’re looking for a role where precision, ownership and continuous improvement are valued as highly as people, we’d love to hear from you.

QRT is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome diversity as essential to our success. QRT empowers employees to work openly and respectfully to achieve collective success. In addition to professional achievement, we are offering initiatives and programs to enable employees achieve a healthy work-life balance.
