Your future role within QRT
- Design and build high-performance, reliable software systems and reusable components.
- Take ownership of technical design and implementation, contributing to architectural decisions and evolving existing systems.
- Solve challenging engineering problems involving concurrency, performance, and system reliability.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues to improve system robustness and efficiency.
- Contribute to code reviews, automated testing and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Your present skillset
- Excellent computer science fundamentals, particularly algorithms, data structures and system design.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Rust, C++, Go or Java.
- Hands-on experience designing and building software systems, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Good understanding of multithreading, asynchronous I/O, memory management and performance optimization.
- Experience developing reliable, production-grade software, with strong debugging and testing practices.
- Comfortable working in Linux environments.
- Curious, proactive and comfortable tackling complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
