About the role

Head of Growth & Partnerships

Location: New York City | In-office

The Mission

“Leading healthcare into the agentic era.”

Every day, patients call their clinic to schedule an appointment, ask a question, or request a prescription refill. Behind each conversation is a busy healthcare team coordinating people, information, and systems.

Taxo builds Voice AI agents that take on this administrative work. Our agents connect with EHR and practice management systems to help teams handle patient intake, complex scheduling, and refill requests, with reliable workflows and clear handoffs to people.

The Opportunity: Build and Lead the Revenue Function

As our Head of Growth & Partnerships, you’ll work with the founders to set Taxo’s go-to-market strategy, build strategic partnerships, and hire and coach a growing sales team. You’ll turn what we learn from healthcare buyers into a repeatable way to reach the right customers and grow revenue. You’ll be accountable for commercial strategy, team performance, and the standards that support consistent execution across prospecting, sales, and partnerships.

What You’ll Do

  • Set the Go-to-Market Strategy: Define our ideal customer profile, priority specialties and segments, positioning, channel mix, and territory and account allocation. Use evidence from customers and the pipeline to decide where we focus.
  • Build and Coach the Sales Team: Hire, onboard, and develop the sales team across pipeline generation and closing. Establish qualification and handoff standards, sales training, deal reviews, and a coaching cadence that supports consistent execution as the team grows.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build relationships with EHR and practice management providers, healthcare IT consultancies, revenue cycle management companies, and industry groups. Own partner strategy, agreements, and channel performance.
  • Create the Sales Playbook: Develop messaging, collateral, outbound approaches, and repeatable sales processes with the team. Lead campaigns, events, and market-facing work that generate qualified demand.
  • Own Targets and Revenue Planning: Set team targets and capacity plans with the founders. Own the consolidated forecast, pipeline review, CRM standards, and analysis of conversion, sales cycles, acquisition costs, and revenue performance.
  • Set Commercial Guardrails: Define pricing, packaging, discounting, and negotiation boundaries with leadership. Coach sellers through complex opportunities, join strategic deals, and handle escalations while keeping a clear deal owner.
  • Connect the Market to the Product: Bring buyer objections, competitive insights, and expansion opportunities to product and engineering. Align customer commitments with delivery capacity and ensure clear handoffs to the team that owns post-signature configuration, training, and go-live.

Who You Are

  • The Healthcare Commercial Leader: 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales or go-to-market roles, including at least 2 years selling into healthcare. You understand how providers and multi-location groups evaluate software.
  • The Team Builder: Experience hiring, coaching, or leading sellers, with examples of improving team performance and turning an early sales motion into a repeatable process.
  • The Proven Seller: A record of meeting revenue goals and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder deals, including $50,000–$200,000+ annual contract values. You can help a seller get a difficult deal across the line.
  • The Strategic Operator: You can choose a market focus, test assumptions, allocate effort, and use pipeline data and unit economics to make practical decisions.
  • The Storyteller and Partner: You translate technical products into clear outcomes for healthcare buyers and build relationships that create lasting distribution opportunities.
  • Bonus: Early-stage startup experience, healthcare industry relationships, experience selling AI or automation, and familiarity with HIPAA, business associate agreements, and healthcare procurement.

  • 🏥 A Mission with Purpose: Help healthcare teams reduce administrative work and improve the patient experience.
