About the role

Astrocade is an AI technology company building super-intelligence for the interactive world, delivered through a breakout consumer platform.

Today's frontier models can write, reason, and generate video. None can build a world you can step into and act on. Interactive world models are one of the defining problems on the path to ASI, and the foundation of the next great consumer platform. Interactivity is the holy grail of content: not something you watch, but something that responds to you. We're further ahead than anyone: the only team building the intelligence and the platform together, and both are already live.

Our social UGC platform lets anyone create and play interactive experiences through natural language. And it's one of the fastest-growing consumer products in the world, with over 30 million users in just months since launch. Creators bring to life games, companions that remember and grow with them, learning experiences that adapt like a great tutor, and social worlds built with friends. The platform also powers our research with data no video dataset contains: millions of creators prompting and refining gives us paired data of human intent and the worlds that fulfill it, and every play session produces ground-truth, action-labeled interaction data at scale. All of it flows back into our models, and research ships to real players in days, spinning a flywheel no one else can build.

We are a small team from Google Research, Meta, FAIR, Character.ai, and Stanford, led alongside Fei-Fei Li, with frontier-scale compute and direct ownership of core model problems. We are backed by Sequoia Capital, Google, NVIDIA, and luminaries including Eric Schmidt and Jerry Yang.

The next foundational AI company will be built where world models meet a billion players. We're the rare place where frontier research and a breakout consumer platform are one company, and where your work ships to millions, not to a paper. Come build it with us.

About the Role

Astrocade is building a new category of interactive entertainment, and our growth will come from finding the formats, creators, and distribution channels that bring millions of players into the ecosystem.

You'll own player and/or creator growth, developing and testing strategies that introduce new audiences to Astrocade. That could mean experimenting with content, building creator programs, developing partnerships, or discovering new acquisition channels. You'll identify what gets people to create, play, and share, then turn those insights into repeatable growth.

This role sits at the intersection of growth, creative experimentation, and the creator economy. You'll move quickly, test relentlessly, and use data to understand what works and scale it.

What You'll Do

  • Own creator and/or player growth through organic channels - build the strategies, experiments, and systems that bring new creators and players to Astrocade.
  • Discover repeatable growth opportunities through content experimentation - ideate, create, and test content across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, and other channels. Explore gameplay, AI-generated content, UGC, IRL content and new formats to find what drives people to engage, share, create, and play.
  • Create and scale what works - develop content, campaigns, and distribution strategies, using creative tools and AI workflows to turn promising ideas into repeatable approaches that grow Astrocade’s creator and player base.
  • Build creator and player acquisition loops - develop programs, partnerships, and incentives that attract creators and players to Astrocade and encourage them to build, share, and bring new audiences into the ecosystem.
  • Run growth experiments with a data-driven mindset - measure performance, analyze results, and continuously iterate on creative, distribution, and acquisition strategies to find what works.

You'd Be a Great Fit If You

  • Have founded or co-founded a company, launched an app, or built a consumer product and figured out how to acquire users and scale growth.
  • Have 1–5 years of experience building or growing consumer products, whether at your own company or someone else’s.
  • Have demonstrated an ability to grow an audience, community, or product through content, whether through your own projects, a brand, or previous work.
  • Have strong intuition for why content works - you understand hooks, retention, audience psychology, distribution, and what makes people stop, watch, share, and act.
  • Are comfortable creating content yourself, moving quickly from idea → production → testing using phone-native tools and emerging AI workflows.
  • Are excited by experimentation and ambiguity - you enjoy running tests, learning from failures, and using data to determine what works.
  • Are scrappy, high-output, and self-directed. You do not need a playbook to get started, and you are comfortable iterating until you find something that works.
  • Are interested in the creator economy and excited about helping creators build new types of games and experiences on Astrocade.

Bonus Points

  • Have experience running creator programs, UGC campaigns, or community-led growth initiatives.
  • Love games and interactive entertainment, but understand that the biggest audiences are often people who do not consider themselves gamers.
  • Have experience analyzing growth metrics and using data to improve creative decisions, with additional skills in design, editing, or motion graphics.
  • Have grown an audience, product, or community at a mobile game, consumer app, entertainment company, or creator-economy startup.
  • Have strong instincts for internet culture and emerging content formats, and can spot trends before they become mainstream

What we Offer

  • Competitive salary, meaningful equity, and performance bonus.
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependents.
  • Flexible PTO and unlimited sick time.
  • $650/month AI Tools budget to use on the tools that help you do your best work.
  • $500/month Lifestyle Benefit for wellness, fitness, meals, house cleaning, and more.
  • $200/month Fun Benefit to spend on hobbies, travel, games, concerts, or whatever brings you joy.
  • Up to 16 weeks paid parental leave for birth parents and 12 weeks for non-birth parents, plus a $1,500/month childcare benefit.
  • $2,000 workspace setup allowance and $200/month commuter benefit.
  • Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner on in-office days, plus regular team events and offsites.
  • 401(k) retirement plan through Human Interest.
