About the role

Every executive team needs one person who knows where everything stands. At First National Bank of America, we're looking for that person.

You'll be the Executive Assistant to our CEO and our COO/Board Secretary, and a trusted partner to the rest of the Executive Team. You'll keep calendars, communications, board work and a hundred moving pieces on track, so our leaders can spend their time leading. The role comes with real trust and real latitude: you'll see sensitive information, make judgment calls without waiting to be told, and sit close to how a national bank is actually run.

What You'll Do

  • Run complex calendars for the CEO, the COO/Board Secretary and other executives, protecting their time and resolving conflicts with judgment about what matters most, not just what was booked first
  • Be the front door to the executive suite: manage calls, email and correspondence, internal and external, with polish and fast follow-up, and know what goes straight to the executive
  • Support the Board of Directors and its committees: coordinate meetings, assemble and distribute materials, record accurate minutes, and track action items to completion
  • Prepare executive communications, presentations, agendas and reports that are clear, confidential and ready to send
  • Keep audit and regulatory examination requests moving by gathering documentation, tracking status and making sure deadlines are never a surprise
  • Plan conferences, off-site meetings and events from start to finish, partnering with teams across the bank
  • Partner with executives who each work differently, and handle confidential board, personnel and strategic information as a matter of course
  • Work fluidly across Microsoft Teams, RingCentral, Outlook and mobile, using whatever gets the answer fastest

What You Bring

  • Experience supporting senior leaders at a full-service level is valuable, and many strong candidates will have years of it. We care more about what you did with that time than how long it was. If you built the same judgment as an office manager, chief of staff, paralegal, project coordinator or in another role, tell us that story.
  • Working command of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and OneDrive. We'll teach you our other systems.
  • Writing that is clear, clean and professional, and sound handling of confidential material

How We Hire

Before your interview, you'll complete a short online assessment. Our conversations focus on how you work: real situations, what you did and why. Bring stories, not just a resume.

Why FNBA

You'll work alongside the people who set the bank's direction, learn how a national bank really runs, and have a job that matters from your first week.
