About the role

The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire an Executive Administrator to support the General Manager and Deputy General Manager of our G1 solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas. This is not a traditional executive administrator role. It’s a high-caliber, high-ownership position for someone who operates more like an Assistant Project Manager than a calendar keeper. Someone who can run point on facility-wide coordination, track complex workstreams to completion, and be trusted as an extension of the two leaders running one of the largest solar manufacturing operations in the country.

You’ll support the GM and Deputy GM directly, but your real scope is the facility as a whole. You’ll keep the leadership team organized and ahead of schedule, drive follow-through on initiatives across departments, and make sure the details that keep a 24/7 manufacturing site running don’t slip. If you’re exceptionally detailed, thrive on complexity, and want a seat close to where the real decisions get made, this role was built for you.

What You’ll Do

Executive Support

  • Manage calendars, travel, and meeting schedules for the General Managers with precision and foresight.
  • Screen and prioritize email, calls, and requests so leaders stay focused on what matters most.
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, and reports, and handle sensitive business and personnel information with full confidentiality.

Plant & Operations Coordination

  • Organize production, safety, and operational review meetings; capture action items and follow them through to close.
  • Operate as an Assistant Project Manager for facility-wide initiatives, tracking deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables across departments and driving them to completion.
  • Support tracking of KPIs, production metrics, and operational dashboards.
  • Coordinate site visits, audits, inspections, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain safety, quality, and compliance records and controlled documents, including SOPs.

Administration

  • Process invoices, purchase requests, and expense reports.
  • Plan site events, trainings, and employee engagement activities.
  • Support onboarding for new employees and contractors.

Communication & Special Projects

  • Serve as the point of contact between the General Managers and production, HR, finance, and external partners.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and operational planning.
  • Anticipate the needs of the GM, Deputy GM, and facility, and have them handled before you’re asked.

Who You Are

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-obsessed: nothing slips past you, and you have a habit of closing the loop on every action.
  • Project-minded: you think in terms of workstreams, deadlines, dependencies, and follow-through, not just tasks.
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership, anticipates needs, and solves problems before they escalate.
  • Calm, steady, and unflappable under pressure, even when priorities shift and the pace is relentless.
  • A polished, confident communicator who can work professionally with people at every level, from the floor to corporate leadership to external partners.
  • Discreet and trustworthy, with strong judgment in handling confidential business and personnel information.
  • Adaptable and resourceful, equally comfortable running logistics and running point on a cross-functional initiative.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as an executive assistant or in administrative support to senior leaders, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Demonstrated project coordination experience, formal or informal, with a track record of driving initiatives to completion.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong judgment and discretion with confidential information.
  • Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to work professionally with people at every level.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com).

Working Environment

  • On-site role at the G1 facility in Wilmer, TX, split between the office and the manufacturing floor.
  • Follows all site safety rules and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) when on the plant floor.
  • Upholds T1 Energy’s standards for safety, integrity, and confidentiality in every task.

About T1 Energy

At T1 Energy (NYSE: TE), we build energy. We are an American solar manufacturer building the future of energy abundance. From our headquarters in Austin, Texas, we’re pioneering a domestic solar supply chain with one mission: to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy.

We started with G1_Dallas, one of the most advanced solar manufacturing facilities in the world. The 5GW facility is located in Wilmer, Texas. It has the capacity to produce more than 20,000 solar modules a day for solar farms that power American homes, businesses, and keep our energy grids resilient.

Next is G2_Austin: Our new solar cell fab in Rockdale, Texas. Its first 2.1GW phase is designed to produce next-generation TOPCon cells beginning in 2027. As the fab grows, it’s expected to support up to 1,800 manufacturing jobs. Modules assembled at G1 can run on cells from G2.

What comes after G2? Come join us and help figure that out. And then build it. The sun has always shone on America. Now you can turn it into abundant electricity.

The T1 Way

We’re all in on the mission, and we pursue it as one team. We move fast, own our results, and treat each other with respect. Egos stay at the door: no one is too senior to roll up their sleeves, and no idea is too small to share. Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and keep a sense of humor, you’ll fit right in.

T1 Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristics.
