About the role

The Role

T1 Energy is looking to hire an Executive Administrator to support our CFO, CAO and broader Finance and Accounting team. This is a role for someone who understands the rhythm of a finance organization, the close cycles, the board prep, the audit timelines, and knows how to keep senior leaders and their team operating at full capacity without missing a beat.

We're a company that is growing fast, which means our finance team is doing serious work in a high-pressure environment. If you've supported a CFO, CAO, or accounting team at a public company through quarterly close, SEC reporting, and external audits, you'll hit the ground running here.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Finance and Accounting team with scheduling, document management and day-to-day administrative needs.
  • Assist with expense reporting, budget tracking and invoice coordination.
  • Organize and maintain financial documentation, contracts and records so they're clean and easy to find.
  • Provide high-level support to the CFO and CAO, including calendar management, travel coordination and preparation of meeting materials.
  • Own the Finance and Accounting team's operating calendar, including monthly and quarterly close, earnings, SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), external audit and SOX timelines, and Board and Audit Committee meetings, and flag conflicts or risks early.
  • Anticipate needs, remove friction, and keep the team focused on the work that matters most.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal departments and external partners, including auditors, banks, board members and investors.

Who You Are

  • Fluent in finance and accounting: you've worked side by side with Controllers, accountants, and auditors and know what keeps a CFO up at night.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage competing priorities across a busy team.
  • A polished communicator who represents the CFO and finance team professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptionally discreet with sensitive and confidential financial information.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of executive or administrative support experience directly supporting a CFO, CAO, Controller, or Finance and Accounting team.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel) and hands-on experience using AI tools to organize, draft and streamline work.
  • Familiarity with financial tools and platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Concur, Workiva, Zip, or similar) is a plus.
  • Background or coursework in finance, accounting or business is a strong plus.
  • Experience supporting finance or accounting at a publicly traded company is required, including exposure to SEC reporting, external audits, and SOX.

About T1 Energy

At T1 Energy (NYSE: TE), we build energy. We are an American solar manufacturer building the future of energy abundance. From our headquarters in Austin, Texas, we’re pioneering a domestic solar supply chain with one mission: to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy.

We started with G1_Dallas, one of the most advanced solar manufacturing facilities in the world. The 5GW facility is located in Wilmer, Texas. It has the capacity to produce more than 20,000 solar modules a day for solar farms that power American homes, businesses, and keep our energy grids resilient.

Next is G2_Austin: Our new solar cell fab in Rockdale, Texas. Its first 2.1GW phase is designed to produce next-generation TOPCon cells beginning in 2027. As the fab grows, it’s expected to support up to 1,800 manufacturing jobs. Modules assembled at G1 can run on cells from G2.

What comes after G2? Come join us and help figure that out. And then build it. The sun has always shone on America. Now you can turn it into abundant electricity.

The T1 Way

We’re all in on the mission, and we pursue it as one team. We move fast, own our results, and treat each other with respect. Egos stay at the door: no one is too senior to roll up their sleeves, and no idea is too small to share. Be sharp, be honest, be human. If you can hold the line and keep a sense of humor, you’ll fit right in.

T1 Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants and do not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristics.
