  • Supervise and support junior medical staff, particularly during after-hours
  • Participate in a rotating roster including evenings, nights and weekends
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and safe clinical environment

About You

  • MBBS (or equivalent) with current or eligible registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Minimum 4 years postgraduate experience, including strong Emergency Medicine exposure
  • Comfortable working independently with appropriate clinical judgment
  • Experience supervising junior staff is highly regarded
  • Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills

Desirable

  • ACEM Emergency Medicine Certificate or Diploma
  • Experience working at a senior ED level (e.g. registrar/CMO equivalent)
  • Background in General Practice (RACGP/ACRRM) or other relevant specialties with ED experience

Why Consider This Role

  • Work in a high-functioning, supportive Emergency Department
  • Excellent exposure to a broad and interesting case mix
  • Coastal lifestyle with beaches, national parks and a relaxed pace of life
  • Easy access to Sydney for weekends or travel
  • Strong team culture with ongoing professional development opportunities
