This is a senior individual contributor role focused on product design. You'll own the design of key product areas end to end, partner closely with product and engineering, and work with our contractors to ship. You'll work within our existing brand and design system and help evolve it, with direction and support from leadership.
What You'll Do
- Own product design for core areas, including advisor workflows and our AI Workspace
- Define, launch, and iterate solutions that are clear, usable, and elegant
- Partner with product and engineering from early concept through launch
- Brief and review UI/UX contractor work on your product areas
- Contribute to and improve our design system and Figma library
Your Impact
- Make the process of buying and selling insurance easier for advisors, our customers
- Raise the quality and consistency of the product experience
- Mentor contractors and teammates through thoughtful critique
About You
- 5+ years of experience in digital product design, ideally including time on an in-house team
- A portfolio showing your ability to define, execute, and iterate on product solutions
- Strong visual craft and comfort working within a refined brand
- Curiosity and experimentation mindset; actively exploring how new tools can help your work
- Based in NYC and open to working from our SoHo office, in person hybrid 4 days a week
Bonus Points
- You have experience working with complex B2B workflows and systems, or with Service Design methods
- You have mentored other designers or directed freelancers
