About the role

About Nebius

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.

The role

Nebius is looking for a Data Excellence Manager to join our Data & Analytics organization, leading cross-functional data initiatives and processes. This role will help drive data alignment and visibility, creating a shared language and consistent processes in how data projects & resources are defined, managed, allocated & delivered across the organization.

The role combines data excellence with strong project and process management. You will work with business stakeholders, Analysts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to translate business needs into clear requirements, establish effective working processes, and ensure that trusted data products and initiatives are delivered successfully.

You’re welcome to work in our offices in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Lead cross-functional data initiatives from requirements through production and business adoption, defining deliverables, milestones, owners & success criteria.
  • Establish processes for intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery of data products and analytical support.
  • Define standards for data quality, ownership, documentation, access, and change management; drive resolution of data-quality issues.

  • Own the business glossary, aligning terms, KPIs, calculations, sources, and owners. Partner with Data Platform teams, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand how data is ingested, structured, and transformed, and ensure consistent business definitions from raw tables to dashboards and business use
  • Proactively communicate progress, successes, delays & risks to stakeholders.

We expect you to have

  • Experience in data excellence, governance, quality, analytics, BI, data product management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects from requirements through implementation and adoption.
  • Technical fluency to work with data functions on ingestion, table structures, and supporting processes, connecting these to front-end analytics and business use.
  • Strong understanding of data quality, KPI definitions, ownership & documentation.
  • Strong project and process management skills, including prioritization, estimation, dependency management, and delivery reviews across concurrent initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable data requirements, clearly communicate progress, outcomes, and trade-offs.
  • A pragmatic, business-oriented mindset, with strong ownership, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Working knowledge of spoken and written English

It will be an added bonus if you have

  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce, DBT, data catalogs, or cloud data platforms.
