This is a rare opportunity to work with a major metropolitan hospital that serves a diverse and growing population, including some of the most at-risk youth in the state. You'll be part of a well-established child and youth mental health service delivering high-quality, evidence-based care in both inpatient and community settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide psychiatric assessment, treatment, and management for children and adolescents with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with a team of psychologists, social workers, nurses, and paediatricians in a truly integrated model of care
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and trainees

  • Participate in on-call roster and clinical governance activities as required

Who We're Looking For

  • Fellowship of the RANZCP, with accredited subspecialty training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Current (or eligibility for) specialist registration with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable young people and families
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills

Benefits

  • Work in a dynamic and purpose-driven mental health service
  • Enjoy the work–life balance that comes with being close to some of Victoria’s best beaches, cafes, and nature trails
  • Access continuing professional development opportunities and academic support
  • Generous public health salary packaging benefits and flexible work arrangements
