The BIM Coordinator is in charge of producing drawings with the most recent information necessary to interpret our clients' objectives and create solutions with a strong visual impact. You will collaborate with our project management team and work on a variety of our services.

The BIM Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creation, coordination, and maintenance of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) deliverables for electrical construction projects. This role serves as a technical liaison between project teams, field operations, and external trade partners to ensure constructible, accurate, and coordinated electrical models that support project execution.

The BIM Coordinator focuses on model accuracy, coordination, and documentation, while supporting project schedules, prefabrication efforts, and field installation needs. This role does not include responsibility for BIM program governance, staffing decisions, or company-wide standards development.

  • Participate in clash detection meetings and assist in tracking and resolving coordination issues.
  • Prepare model-based drawings, layouts, and installation documents for field use.
  • Support prefabrication and modular construction efforts through accurate model outputs.

Project & Field Support

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Estimators to align BIM deliverables with project scope and schedule.
  • Assist field teams by providing model clarifications, updated drawings, and technical support as needed.
  • Integrate RFIs, design revisions, and as-built updates into BIM models.
  • Support quantity take-offs and model-based planning when required.

Standards, Quality & Documentation

  • Follow Titan Electric BIM standards, workflows, and naming conventions.
  • Assist in maintaining BIM project documentation including coordination logs, clash reports, and model issue tracking.
  • Ensure models reflect constructible solutions and field conditions.
  • Support closeout documentation, including as-built models when required by contract.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Act as a point of contact for BIM-related coordination questions on assigned projects.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners regarding model updates and coordination issues.
  • Support knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement of BIM practices within Titan Electric.
