ABOUT AERO

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Base Operations Coordinator at Aero, you are the essential link ensuring our base operations run with the same effortlessness and precision as our flights. You are responsible for the behind-the-scenes magic that empowers our Operations and Experience Teams to deliver an exceptional, seamless guest journey. This role is foundational to our mission, requiring meticulous organization, proactive problem-solving, and a spirit of hospitality to maintain our premium environment and support our team's daily needs. This is a fully onsite position 5 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the inventory management of all guest experience amenities, printed collaterals and base operational supplies, from lounge snacks and beverages to office and team equipment, ensuring we are always perfectly stocked while spending carefully.
  • Serve as an on-the-ground representative for Aero, providing a consistent, premium presence for arriving and departing flights.
  • Ensure the Aero lounge is at all times tidy, organized and presented as intended to Aero guests, including by flagging any required cleaning or repairs required for facilities crews to address, and upkeep all staff and storage areas to ensure accessibility, efficiency and ease of use.
  • Activate and carry out all lounge and office related projects or tasks requested by the manager.
  • Proactively identify and resolve facilities-related issues within our lounge and office spaces, managing and coordinating vendors for general maintenance to ensure our environment is always safe, functional, and reflective of the Aero brand.
  • Lead all mail and shipping logistics pertaining to the base.
  • Work with the finance department to ensure adherence to controlled spending, stock levels as well as effective waste tracking.
  • Assist with the organization, staging and cleaning up of special guests or team events.
  • Assist with daily facilities operations, including receiving and distributing mail and packages, and managing outgoing shipments via FedEx.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Impeccable attention to detail and a keen eye for the small touches that elevate the guest and team experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills; an ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and internal communication tools like Slack.
  • Optimism and resourcefulness: you are a natural problem-solver, eager to lend a helping hand, and can find solutions independently.
  • A "no task is too small" mentality, taking pride in a job well done, whether it's managing a complex order or tidying the lounge.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience in an administrative, operations, or hospitality support role is preferred.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods and be able to move, pull, carry, or lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule. While primarily regular hours, occasional support during nights or weekends may be required to support the operation.
  • Must live under 60 minutes from the base and have a car.
