  • Undergraduate: More than 800 majors and 425 minors.
  • Service teaching: Two general education introductory economics courses that serve students from all UF majors.

About the Candidate:

The Department seeks a visionary leader who can elevate the research enterprise, improve the external reputation of doctoral program, and grow the faculty size. The successful candidate will be expected to improve the Department’s research reputation and standing in external rankings. They will foster research productivity and mentor a large cohort of early-career faculty. Additionally, they will oversee the Department's academic programs, budget, hiring, and faculty evaluation.
